Online Payments
To make it easier and more convenient we have adopted Bromcom Parents Payment System as a method of paying for trips and visits, or for you to be able to put money onto your child’s school account for school meals. Online payments are made via the MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) parent portal.
MCAS offers a fully secure online payment system for all school-related activities. Payments can be made for Clubs and Trips, Dinners and uniform or equipment thought the School Shop. MCAS keeps you informed of balances and sends reminders when payments are due.
Meadow Park School uses a biometric system for school meals, which makes the whole process quicker and more efficient. This is used for all students, including those receiving free school meals. It means students can ‘pay’ for meals, snacks or drinks in school using their fingerprint, instead of cash.
We need the consent of a parent/carer to register the biometric data. Once registered, students are identified at the tills by thumbprint or PIN. No cash changes hands at the tills. The payment will have been made online into the child’s account using MCAS or the cash loader, located in the Lakeside Diner.
If you have not already registered with MyChildAtSchool, search ‘MCAS login’ online and click ‘Sign Up’ or download the app. Enter our school ID 15028 and create your account using your email address. Please note for this to work, you must have parental responsibility, and your email must match the one held in our system.
