Meadow Park School named BBC CWR’s Star School this week!

This week our students are hitting the airwaves on BBC CWR’s Breakfast Show as we have been named Star School of the Week.

As well as leading the quiz by setting the listeners “homework”, students have had the opportunity to talk about what makes Meadow Park School a place where they are proud to learn.

One student, Maria, explained how settling in as a Year 7 had been so much easier than she had thought – and that everyone had been hugely supportive as she took the big step from primary school through to secondary school.

Liam also talked about our brand new house system which is helping us to provide even more pastoral support and leadership opportunities. Liam is perfectly placed to talk about this as he came up with the names for them. 

We hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as we have all enjoyed being part of it. It is just another great way to show how much the school is moving forward.
